"Only Human" was (and is, I guess) my first full-length album. Recorded in my very modest bedroom 'studio', Only Human is an attempt at taking a collection of songs and haphazardly throwing them together into something that sounds complete.

Let me say it before you do: there are a lot of mistakes in this album, a lot of bedroom acoustics, out-of-sync multitracks, and even some off-key vocals here and there.

The best I can do is say that this is an album about mistakes, an album about showing how pathetic and broken the process of writing and making art can be - most of all it's an album that tries to show how music can happen despite the mistakes. That little ray of hope, breaking through a veritable fog of teenage angst, manages to shine a little more clearly in my more recent work.

But this is where it came from. Enjoy.
